Resume:

Chen Zhao is an assistant professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU). He joined NPU in 2017 after completing his Ph.D. degree at Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), China. From 2002 to 2009, he studied in XJTU, Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, where he received his B.S. and M.S. degrees. From 2009 to 2010, he has work as an ASIC engineer at AMD R&D center.

Dr. Zhao’s research interests are in energy-efficient computing architecture, hardware accelerators for machine learning and computer vision algorithms, low-power embedded system chip, etc. He a member of IEEE, a member of CCF, and a member of CSIG.
